I absolutely love lights with trits at night, they look cool in my opinion. So post some pics of yours! I only have these 2 right now but I think they are worth several:
Lets see some great lights!![]()

Sorry, not the best of photos but here are my main two with tritiums.
Andrew
Mmmm some nice pics... keep them coming. I'm kinda jealous over that HDS and Raw Ti... but I have a raw AL coming soon to me
Isak Hawk: Your pictures look good actually. It's impossible to get all of the trits from the Raw NS in the picture, mine has 4 and I only managed to capture 2![]()

Some great pictures here. Keep them coming![]()
I've got a green trit in the M-L1 Clip
3 in the head of the PR-T
3 in the Aleph tailcap
And a 18mm Sphere in the 0D Mag
To light them and the mini glow sticks up I used the UV Aleph Light Engine in the Mule Head seen in the second shot. With a Ultra Blue Glow Disk in the Mule.

Oh you said trits. Oops, my mistake, didn't see the "r".
Uh, actually, I believe there is a trit in that light but I would have never noticed.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.![]()

Sorry, I have retired from flashlight modding, I do not offer machining services, & I do not make custom flashlights. Thank you for your understanding.

where can I get a tailswitch like that to my SF ???
Haha darkzero, the pic is nice even though it's off topic. I didn't notice the light at first...
Nein166: That 0D mag.. is that bright enough to read by at night? Even bright enough to navigate by? Looks insane.
Not really a light, but I like the pic, so here you go.

Trees don't grow on money either.
Hey Will!
There you have very nice trits...![]()

The title of this thread really should have been "Show us your trits!"
Do something alone and it's weird, do it with others and it's a club.

What is Trit short for, where do we buy it?
Trit is short for Tritium, which is a radioactive form of hydrogen gas. Its radioactivity is extremely weak, it doesn't even register on standard detecting equipment, however if you put some of it in a sealed vial with some phosphor, it's just powerful enough to cause the phosphor to glow. Since Tritium has a radioactive half-life of 12 years, that means the now-glowing vial will glow nonstop for many years! It's like a halloween glow stick that never dies, or glow in the dark material that never needs any light or charging. If you put one of these vials on your flashlight, you'll be able to quickly and easily find your flashlight in complete darkness, even years from now, with no maintenance of any kind needed on the vial.
You can find many different shapes, sizes, and colors of tritium available on the CPF Marketplace. The tritium vial I use on my Fenix P1D pictured above is a Merkava DIY II Glowring (http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/sho...d.php?t=182082), a vial in a high-impact tube that's then put on a keyring - anything that accepts a keyring, I can now have a tritium vial on, very handy!
Used a UV light to accent the Tritium:
