Looks like you got "trit-fever" too - I know egrep wants to be cremated in a trit urn but I am seriously addicted to trits and handling Over 600 trits and counting... The thought is starting to get me worried.

I need to stop on my trit mission but after seing your Trit 51.. It has made me go crazy again. Just been milling a SVM body with 24mm x3mm trits along the length of the body.. Massive trits look a lot brighter than the small trits.

    Need trit rehab.

That's for sure! After seeing your V10R, I'm thinking about having Jeff Hanko mill some additional slots along the length of the battery tube! I like your idea of the 24x3mm trits. Hmmmm...

I just did a quick count and I'm at only at 173 trits so I have quite a bit of catch up to do.

Well, I don't have anywhere near 51 trits . . . but here are my contributions:

SVM body custom made with 3mm x24mm trits along the length of the body. Ever since I saw the large trits I wanted to embed them in the machined area along the SVM body. I found out that the body allowed the depth of 2.6mm to be milled. By making some minor adjustments I have kept the external diameter the same and managed to embed the large trits which are very bright.

Very impressive Mohanjude. The large trits make the ones that I'm used to look like little toys by comparison.

Thanks for the encouragement. I remember one of the forum members suggested this idea sometime ago. Cant seem to find that trits. I looked for flat trits but gave up looking for them. I have been determined to get this mod done using the available large trits.. the next mod will be doing the anodised tube done as well with the mega trits.

Custom bodies make it possible go mad with trit slots and sizes.. Very destructive on the wallet especially when you got a milling machine with 3 axis DRO... Like a kid in the sweet shop.

Very cool, how well can you see the inner trits with the switch boot in place?

That's a great question ... but I don't yet know the answer. After those trits set up for a day the rest of the vials will be installed & I'll post back.

UPDATE: They are pretty easy to see, either from the side or from directly above:

This is my first attempt at milling slots on the Haiku Head. So far I have been milling slots on the SVM Ti. I suppose this was my 'safety net'. I decided that it was time that I ventured and milled a McGizmo Haiku Head. Took me less than a hour using this cutter as I could take off more material each pass.

I think it came out well. Used a Ball nose cutter instead of my usual 2 flute slot drill. Time to go and select the colours...

Sorry for the dust... no matter how much I cleaned it the fluff was stuck on the head.
