Default Kingpower AA drop test>>NEW VIDEO No. 3<<

These Kingpower lights are thick, and feel solidly built. So I thought I would beat it up a bit. Here is the video:

    New Video HERE

The K2 2AA light comes with the best pouch of any lights I have bought. It is thick and solid also.

New videos added to our homepage here. they are 3A 3B 3C

Video and light looks good. Enjoyed your accent. Reminds me of Billy Ray Cyrus.

Evidently they don't have reverse polarity protection?

This info was on the FAQs on the Kingpowerlight.com website:

"Please put the battery’s anode (+) side towards the light’s head. Reverse polarity may damage the circuit."

I just checked this light out on light-reviews: http://www.light-reviews.com/kingpower_k1/ and that stainless bezel looks TOUGH! I'm not a fan of reverse clickies but this still sounds like a solid working light.

And FWIW, no your accent ain't bad at all, just pure smooth south. There's just alot of Yanks here on CPF (including me ).
why did we ever come down from the trees

Not for Alabama. I lived in Montgomery for 9 years and never did pick up the accent. That really took me back.

Believe it or not, but there are people around here that speak with a much

"stronger" accent than I do. My daughter calls it speaking "HeeHaw". lol

Mikekoz, you can get them at www.uniquetitanium.com

I'm thinking about some other kind of torture test. It was pretty fun.

Don't insult the man, he's obviously way smarter and a whole lot more classy than Billy Ray Virus. There's nothing wrong with his accent.

Looks like a very cool light! Please post more abuse tests if you decide to do more!

What about pouring some gas on it and lighting that sucker on fire, and letting it burn for at least 5 seconds.....

Nahh. Running over it with a vehicle is nothing. What is that maybe 500 pounds pressure?

Run it over with the lawn mower then we will see how it looks......Then if you have a sling shot put it in that and shoot it over the roof of your house. If it still works I am buying one immediately

I don't want to tear up my mower.

    I don't have a sling-shot, but I do have a baseball bat.

Shoot it with a .22 at 30ft (not through the window!!!) and see if it does any real damage. I'm betting it may gouge it, but probably won't go through it.

An extreme drop test, atleast 2 stories. I always feel way more secure in trusting a light after seeing that it can be thrown off a building and survive.

Like the E01 and the Arc-P, I'm never going to worry about those breaking after I drop them.

I also remember reading that Night-Ops dropped the Gladius five-stories onto pavement and it still worked (albet with the plastic tailcap broken, which they actually designed to break, they used plastic to prevent anything from bending or denting like metal, which could in turn render the switching system useless.)

I love these torture tests, as long as it's not my lights.

The Kingpower lights look pretty impressive in terms of durability.

New video today!. Its pretty good. It may take a while to get it uploaded.
I think it will have to be in two or three parts. I had to stop filming a couple of times. One to go get the light, and once to clean-up a little mess.

    Stay tuned.
