Hi everyone, I have been contemplating my next purchase and for ease of maintaining cells, i have been trying to hunt down a 2 x 14500 light but this little baby doesnt seem to exist. I am talking about lights in excess of 200 lumens.

I guess that means that i would have to go for a 1 x 18650 (with extension tube to make it 2 x 18650) or 2 x 18650 light to get the kind of power that i am looking for.

Sigh, more chargers and more cells i guess. Anyone able to point out if there are any 2x14500 cell lights??

Does anyone here know of

Well, if you feel like playing with Fenix legos... I've fired up 2 14500s w/ a P3D head & L2D body/tailcap for fun.

However, it's rather pointless with that combo because there's no advantage in capacity or output using 14500s over 16340s in that light...

Outside of that, I don't think I've seen any stock light designed for use with two 14500s.

Sigh, exactly my point, I dont think there are any out there. A stock 2 x 14500 running a high powered LED in that form factor would be great, then i wouldnt have to keep track of different cells etc.

At least with a 14500 light, if it ever runs out, i could always just shove in some AAs and still get some light (better some than none) but with 18650s, im a goner. (CR123As are a rare commodity here and rare = expensive)

A 2x 14500 light doesn't make a lot of sense...2 x AA NiMh have more capacity(Wh), 1 x CR123A has more capacity, etc...

There's some excellent, readily available 2 x AA lights (Olight T25, Fenix L2D)....
