Hi everyone,
I have searched and searched but I am unable to find what sets this light and the Liteflux LF2x apart from one another. The only main difference I can see is that the LF2x is happy to run on 10440s at max output. (not sure for how long though?)
I must be missing something... please be gentle if its really obvious.![]()
Regards

Not-so-Subliminal Message ---> You want to sell me your ARC6
Better machined and anodized custom body. Hand picked LED emitter. Pop on diffuser that doesn't require removing the entire front bezel, to name a few.

LF2 reqired removing the front head. LF2x has a snap-on diffuser. At the time the Arcmania light first came out, the decision was a lot more clear-cut. However, the LF2x has adopted many of the features of the Arcmania. So that means the biggest difference will be the higher quality machining quality control.
Also, to complicate the issue further: both the liteflux brands are easy to perform emitter swaps on, enabling you to "hand pick" your own emitter. My current EDC is an LF2x with a hand-picked Cree 5A neutral white emitter.

It says the Cree emitter is reflow soldered for the LF2x. Not really the easiest to remove, unless they are lightly soldered on. Do you have to use hot air rework station, or can they be removed with a simple soldering iron?
Either way, it's pretty much a moot point as the Extreme III with R2 cree has been discontinued.

I believe the driver is also significantly different. I measured three of these at 180 lumens on the highest setting, and a very consistent and stable 80 lumens at 50% (the default "high" setting).
