For Sale: Custom Surefire KL6 head modified with a P7 (CSWO1) emitter modded by Milkyspit. This light is driven by three Mad Max+ boards to send 3.1A to the emitter. As you can imagine, this produces a very bright white beam. The light is also designed to specifically run off of 1xA123 (18650 sized) cells. ADDED: The light can operate off of a single LiON cell but you should probably keep the size at 17500 or greater!

The light is estimated at 474 Lumens!!!

The light is in very good condition, but it does have some nicks in the anodizing and is not in mint condition. It is in the condition that it was delivered to me in. The marks are noticable, but are minor.

The deal also includes two A123 cells in like new condition. Only 1-2 charge cycles through each cell. Charger not included.

ASKING $150 (head and batteries only/not a complete light), shipped CONUS. International buyers, please add $10 to order.

***SOLD***

Any questions, or requests for additional photos, please send me a PM.

Thanks for looking,
MSax

Nice msax- if only I had an appropriate host.

To run the A123 cell (18650 size) you'd need one of the leef 1x18650 C to M bodies. SureFire C-series (and M-series) compatible tail, M-series (M3, M6...) compatible head.

HA HA

You're right, I should have thrown a few lures in there to boot.

Thanks Chronos for fielding the question for me. Chronos is exactly correct.

Thanks,

I would use the head with a setup similar to this:

Again, this sales thread is for the head only.... body and tailcap must be purchased elsewhere.

No problem Team Member, I'd rather you know exactly what your are buying than be disappointed later.

To clarify, this light is designed and optimized for use with the A123 cells, but the light can be driven off of a single LiON. It is recommended that you use the A123 cells however for best performance.

Thanks,

I could be wrong, but a P7 at 3100 mA should produce 800+ lumens:D

Re: F/S: Milkyspit KL6 Head w/ P7 (474 Lumens)! ONLY $150!!

At this price, it's hard to say no, but I don't have a body to put it on:eek:. Lighthound/Leef are droppin' the ball on 1x18650 C-M bodies.

You could always use dummy cells. If you need them, send me a PM.
