    Default Earthquake in Japan.

I was not sure where to put this, so please accept my apology.

I just wanted to thank all of you for on going tremendous help and kind support
    from all over the world.

Nothing serious happened and, is not happening in where I live ( Yokohama ). Everything is
pretty much normal. Tohoku area is where a lot of help is still needed .

Seriously, Tokyo area and Yokohama area are fine.

Fukushima nuclear power plant is still having some serious trouble, but there is no panic at all.

The main problem is that, our government is currently run by group of VERY left wing people
( Minsh Party ) who want to destroy Japanese culture, so unfortunately things are not going as smooth as it should be.

They are actually trying so hard to make things go worse ( not giving proper order at the right moment and so on, as well as not accepting serious support from the U.S. Navy, etc ), and they REALLY are doing it on purpose. I am not joking at all.

We really appreciate all your kindness .

    Thanks to all of you.

    Japanese.

    Hi Japanese
I'm glad to hear most issues are safe and under control. I would also suggest that much of that is based on perception and conjecture.
Needless to say, the International community is involved by helping.

I was always led to believe that Japan was one of the most industrialized countires in the world and most of the world is in awe of Japan's advance technology and the ability to deal with quakes and Tsunami (not withstanding the size of this one).

Many of us get our daily news from the CNN type news sources and local news and it's anyone's guess how much of that is 100% or twisted to suit their news cast to make that ultimate sale for viewers.

If we, members here or people in general, wanted to help out what would be the best method to do so.
I heard shortly after the event that money is not a high priority, but man-hours and time is. It's also heart wrenching to hear the loss of your fellow country people.
    Please keep us posted

There will be no further discussion of politics of any hue, or this thread will close - as did the last one on this topic. If you wish to make political comments or observations, please reserve them for CPFU.

Respectfully, I removed my political content but I still feel it's important that we talk about the disaster itself and what's being done, plus who needs help and where. Sorry, I wasn't trying to break any rules.
    Cheers

Please accept my apology for writting a true story. People ( Search and rescue specialists ) from all over the world came to help, but our government
is not thanking to any of them. I am really pist about that, is my main point. I just wanted to let you all know that We ( all Japanese )
really appriciate all your serious help.

Since Fukushima nuclear power plant is so old, and out dated the plant was scheduled for serious
reinforcement and maintenance in Feb 2011. However, our government did not do it, and approved for ten more years...

There are so much more true things I would like to write about, but my English isn't that good, and this place is for flashlight lovers
only, so I better stop now.

I won't write about politics relating stuff any more.

Like I wrote above, nothing serious happened here in Yokohama, so I was unable to use my flashlights. However, just to feel safer, I carry two
flashlights and some spare batteries with me when I go out.
