Can someone tell me a good halogen lamp( more powerfull than the original) to use with my PETZL DUO Belt, and where to buy it.
Does anyone know the specs of the original lamp?

Thanks

Specs of original halogen bulb: I suspect, but do not know for sure, that the specs are the same as those of an HPR-55 which are 5.2V/0.5A, 48lm, 15hrs rated life. Since the belt Duo uses C-cells which have generally poor high rate performance [I'm talking about primary alkaline cells] I think that you would not be happy with a higher amperage bulb unless you where to use rechargeable cells. You might find the original bulb to be satisfactory with rechargeable cells since that will maintain higher operating voltage than the alkalines.

[I think it's HME55 instead of HPR55.

Yes, this is correct. My basis for giving the spec above is belief that the HME55 is simply the miniature screw-base version of the [flange base] HPR55. BTW, for inquiring minds, the "ME" in the HME designation is for "miniature Edison", Edison being an industry term for screw-based.
