Default 2008 CPF Knife---- Can you recommend a leather sheath ??

    Hey Guys,

I just picked up a CPF 2008 knife.
She's a beauty, but I am not fond of the Kydek sheath
    that came with it.

I would love a nice leather sheath with either a belt clip or loop for
    a belt.

    Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Some of his work that I own. These are pocket sheaths (that clip to your pocket). These are about $125 a peice for the inlayed ones, about the finest custom sheath you can get. Paul is a great guy. I had to send him the Strider, so he could custom fit it. He can do belt sheaths too.

I second the Paul Long recommendation. His work is beautiful. I have three of his sheaths!

George offered a heavy leather sheath with the 2008 knife. Perhaps he could make one for yours.

    It's worth asking anyway.

Kid9P if you check out the 2 threads - First Forum Knife the Process about the 2nd or 3rd post there is a photo of the standard pouch style George makes. If you want the exact one check thru the other thread :First Forum Knife Final: One of the two of them has all the photos of how the knife was made, etc you might enjoy that and you will find somewhere in there a photo of the sheath.

I've got a photo somewhere just can't find it at the moment, I've got a couple thousand photos to skim thru.

    Cheers, Carol

    Thanks for the reply Carol.

Unforgiven provided me with a few pics.

I would love for George to make me one. Just let me know where to send my Paypal payment to.

    Thanks!

    Ray

PS- if there is anyway possible to make one with a clip instead of the loop holster, I'd prefer that.

If not, I will take it the way it is.
