Has anyone used or have beamshots of Litemania's P7 Collimator with Narrow or medium beam filter? I'm thinking of trying to fit 3 underdriven D-bin P7s with optics into a Mag head.

Are there any other compact optics that I've missed?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the beam quality of Warren's stuff.

While they aren't optics, the McR-XR27 reflectors will work with the Seoul P7 if you remove a little material from the back. It will work as-is, but needs to be modified a little to get the best focus.

datiLED - isn't the McR27 too big to fit 3 reflectors in a Mag head?

Tex - those Booms look nice. Any idea who sells them/where to buy?

Would an 3 x IMS* work in a Mag head?

There not available yet,as far as I know, but they are set for release any day now.

I'm hoping some of our CPF dealers carry them, but until then I'll be checking for some commercial sources.

I think they will be the best option for a narrow beam,in a size small enough to fit three up in a Mag head that is.

Ive been looking for some tight optics to replace my McR27L reflectors
on my Quad monster by Cmacclel.

Its a bit hard to see if these Sekonix optics will give a tighter spot.

Anyone tryed both before?

It also looks like these need the P7 MPCB to attach while i only have the bare emitters epoxied to a chunky heatsink.

Anything else with the size of a McR27XR that will throw better with a P7?

Cheers,
Benny

I've used the Boom for Cree MC-E and the beam shot for the S version looked just as tight as the P7 S version, but in real life it's very floody, so I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet until they are out and tested.

I have the same light. I love it. But, it is a floodmonster, not a thrower. I would also be really interested if you find any tighter optics.

If you want to use multiple LEDs in a M@g, the MCE might be a better choice.
Both optics and reflectors down to 20 mm are available.

Just remember the stock M@g switch can not take much more than 5 amps. The MCE gives more voltage/ampere combinations than the P7.

Thanks again...it looks like I'll be waiting a while until the technology matures and more/better optic choices become available.

I have some custom reflectors for my planned triple P7 light.
Even though they are smooth they are giving a good nice beam.

I will try to make some beamshots tomorrow
