Hey All! I just swapped this with another Cpf'ers light,
But i can make more if need be.. PM Me for details

Here is a new light i just built up for sale..
It is an MCU-C7 from DX that has a DSWOJ P7
stuffed inside . The Drive current is about
1300mA on high. Battery Current draw is 1400mA.
Low Low.. And i mean about 0.4% :candle: The Battery drain
on that is around 70mA. And about 50mA to the Led.
The driver has 15 modes arranged in 5 groups of
different configurations. Instructions are below.
Heat output on high is tolerable in your hand for
extended periods of time. The ceiling bounce was done
on low becuase you cant really run it on high because
it would get a bit to hot for the battery to handle that
for extended times over 5 min. I have Not done a
Battery drain from my Trustfire 880mA 123's.. But the
driver is pretty efficient for being a Boost convertor.
That means you can run 3.0v/3.6v Cells.. But make
sure your batts have protection circuits due to the
driver being able to run down to 0.9v! That means you
have to use your best judgment when running primary
cells :tinfoil:. Now, Onto the Pics!!!

Cool, what driver did you use?

Edit: Google is my friend, apparently is the stock driver, Nice to know it can pump out that much current to the led.

Re: Mini P7 CR123 Edc

I just ran a continuous runtime test with the light in a cup of water. It lasted 20 mins on high before the battery protection kicked it off. I am using Ultrafire 880mA batts for the test. Now you could always shut the light off and then back on for more runtime on a lower setting at the expense of battery life :( The reason for the water was to take the place of holding it in my hand, and testing its ability to survive a dunk. Absolutely NO water intrusion !! Woohoo!

I can make some more of these if people want them.. It is not a one-time thing..

Re: Mini P7 CR123 Edc

i see. what type of lumen output would this generate ? 1300ma to a P7, sure will get hot, but max output is important to me.

can you also mod lets say a Fenix p3d or tk10 with a P7 that pushes the limits of 2 primaries ?

As seen here, its about 400 lumens.

Re: Mini P7 CR123 Edc "Traded, Pending Shipment Swaps" More Available Soon!

Any chance we'll see a 2.8 amp regulated single-mode version for use with AW IMR16340 batteries?

I imagine that would sell quite a lot. Full P7 brightness off of one cell!

Who cares if it will only get about ~5 minutes of runtime.

I will consider it as a one-off jobby.. But a groupbuy
will have to be put on backburner till i get the
Chimera 18650 Edc off the design table, and into
Cpf'rs hands. :grin2: PM me for more details please.
I will have the parts to make one for you, but i dont
have that particular cell and charger to test it out
