Well I went to install the h1499 bulb , And had a hell of a time because of the new "shockproof" bulb assembly , one wire goes through the holder and bends 90' to the copper washer the other goes out the end to the chrome washer under the spring . Talk about a pain in the butt .
My buddys older TL-3 is just plug and play, took 2 min . Im new to all this maybe I should get the older style bulb holder to simplify things in the future ?
