For those that have both of these, the Merkava DIY Type II and the NiTE Glowring, which seems to be more durable for keychain carry?

I only own the Merkava, but it's obvious that the Nite would be more durable thanks to its thick plastic case. Nite owners posting elsewhere have only noted that the casing is friction-plugged, so you shouldn't let a child toy with it.
This also means the Nite doesn't appear to be nearly as bright.
