This light is something else. Thanks for al the work you do Mac, absolutley incredible!

The great thing about this light, is the low level is low. It gives real world use to it having these lower levels. Low is maybe 20-40 lumens, thats low when high is 3500 lumens!

This light on high is best described as holding a stadium light in your hand. :naughty:

Mac's Specs

-FiveMega Ellephant II Host in Black with Finned and Fluted Head
-Quad "D" Bin 800-900 Lumens each "WO" Tint
-D2flex Driver board with 8 or 5 Levels
-Uses 4x 18650 Li-Ion cells
-MCR27XR Reflectors
-Led_Zeppelins Awesome Heatsink

Enjoy the pics:)

Many of these multi-LED lights look impressive, but they look like they don't have a glass lens to protect the reflectors. If that is the case is there a reason they don't put lenses over opening? Not sure if it is a size or heat issue? That is a beauty though.

there's glass on this one...you can see reflections in some of the pictures. many times a UCL (ultra clear lens-~99+% light transmission) is used on these builds for more output, so it looks invisible.

Lux I spit polish the glass before installing :)

I hate when I bring new lights into work to show the guys they usually say wow is there a lens on this then poke it with there fingers :)

Nice beam shots PSM :twothumbs

Beautiful pics, PSM! and great beamshots!

When I've brushed my teeth, drank some cold ice water, and then slipped on the PJs for bed, this is the light I dream about in my sleep!

Allow me to point out just how NICE these temps would be just about now where I am with ambient temp of 32ºf:twothumbs Does the ambient temp affect MTF of the emitters/electronics? It should.

These things are impressive! I had a chance to play with PSM's Ellie in Orlando on Saturday night and it is just freaking amazing:thumbsup:

I have to say that I was equally impressed with his Mac 1 x P7 in a cutdown 1 x C-cell sized Mag with the same kind of driver.

Mac does some pretty spectacular work!

Hi Goatee! I agree. It was awesome! At first I thought it was one of the HID lights it was so bright. Then I saw how wide the beam was.

Thanks for bringing your toys PSM!
