Yes, I did. It was not easy. As we speak, I am standing on my ceiling!

MY trick has nothing to do with YOUR trick. I found a picture of myself after I was rescued from a year as a castaway on a desert island. I made a copy of it, renamed the copy, opened it in my image viewer (ACDSee), rotated it 180 degrees, resized it from 3,072 x 2,304 to 640 x 480, uploaded it to my image hosting site (PhotoBucket), and copied/pasted the file's html image code to the CPF text box.

If you didn't understand my steps, maybe I should write them upside down?

By manually counting the days from today, Fri. February 6th to Sat. May 2nd., I get 85. You are correct and the timer is correct.

I did the same thing before I posted 84 days, but must have counted wrong. Thank you for the clarification. Now you see why I asked the youngins to participate?

I used the free program from the linky. In the program it has an effects button, somewhere in there was a distort effect it was just dumb luck that you now look like Jay . when it come to photo programs I am the worst !.

I will seek that "free" program with great ferocity, and get back to you. By the time I am done with your face, you will look like Sarah Palin. By the way, dumb luck or not, I do look like Jay from the lips down, so you can't be "the worst" at photo editng programs!

Let's face it, CPF's clock was never and will never be synchronized with anybody's computer or any other watch that can be calibrated with the NIST atomic clock. If the discrepency is 30 seconds, as you claim, that would be great. It is usually three to five minutes SLOOOOW.....sometimes ten!

I know it's usually off by more, I correlated the timestamp of wyatt's post with the email I got, to get a correction factor, but I guess I underestimated the delay on the email notifications.

As for the delayed/instant email notifications I have been getting since last night, we'll see if today's CPF maintenance procedure addressed that problem, and returns them to instant?

We now know that CPF had a low grade fever, which was examined this morning. Let's post in this thread and see if each of us gets an instant email notification....instantly!

Your deduction about my posts was brilliant. Indeed I have been posting all along, even though notification of those pearls of wisdom were not immediately apparent. Are you caught up now, Wyatt?

After this thread dies, you will have more people you met at PF12 with whom to associate via pm, email and phone, reminiscing the good old days of May 2nd, and looking forward to PF13 roughly six months later. I have a few contacts that I made from my maiden voyage PF3 in Dec. 2004, and that is how you build up friendships with others who are as hopelessly romantic about flashlights as you!
