Does FM35 improve heat sink on G2?

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the FM35 night vision red filter attachment that goes on the surefire G2 nitrolin as to whether or not it improves led heatsinking or worsens it? Thanks for the input.

well, I'm thinking that it worsens it, seeing as it's just piling more nitrolon on top of the already bad bezel (at least heat conduction-wise).

no problem! On the other hand, if you mounted a metal thing on top of a metal bezel, it would improve the heat sink, due to the greater surface area. (One example would be the TAD T.I.C.)
