Question about flux
I've always wondered if there was a huge difference between electronic flux and plumbing flux. Normally I use rosin core solder for electronics which works fine but I also have some tiny gage solder that doesn't have a rosin core. I would need to use flux with this type of wire and I'm wondering if i would have to buy some electronics flux or if I could just use the flux I use for copper pipes?

Re: Question about flux
No, do not using plumbing flux on electronics.
It is acidic and will corrode your piece over time.
Just buy a flux pen or liquid electronics flux on ebay or some other online place.
