I think he should offer stainless as well, but regardless of that, why can't you use NS? It's not like you're actually holding the thing for more than a few seconds at a time.

It's not. You also need a Raw TI and an Arc6 and at least one thing from PhotonFanatic and several assorted Peak flashlights, plus a couple of Fenixes for abusive jobs (don't want to break the pretty ones, after all) and an optional Jetbeam for when you need to do some killin'. Then you should be set for a while.

Anyway, it's certainly a good thing I don't need my Raw TI for anything. Makes the waiting a lot less annoying.

and if you personally like to be red and itchy by using such things that causes that, well thats your personal choice.

i rather avoid nickel and feel fine, than feel bad. and by doing so i also might be able to avoid getting even more allergic to it.

and few seconds? umm its in my keys and in my pocket and also it is my edc flashlight.

few seconds at a time when i need the keys several times day ..all add up.

and as edc light also minutes a day.

plus the residue that rubs into my pocket from it.

Yeah, i rather keep things that make me sick away from me as much as i can. YMMV.

I really hope that you can afford a Raw Ti eventually, until then, a Raw al is still better than my absolutely rawless exitence . A friend of mine is very allergic to nickel, for her it's enought to touch some metal containing nickel for just a moment in order to get rashes, seriously annoying!

The blues weren't shipped; he got the wrong ones, and they had to be returned. It was the factory's fault.

I thought as everything was finally coming together I would chime in.
14250 batteries & nano chargers are now in stock.
All locators should arrive today / tomorrow.
I did get sent the incorrect order on Tuesday, this was a mistake by my supplier which will be resolved this week.
The last hold up is the 10180 batteries, this is a large order & I believe they are at the final stages of manufacture.

By no means do I keep anybody waiting intentionally, it is all a fine balance & for the last few months the balance has been slightly upset. With long lead times on components required to make a Lummi torch.
Anyway things are coming together again & I look forward to being able to dispatch any orders pretty much immediately.

Thanks for the update Rob. Yeah, this thread turned into a bit of a venting session for a lot of guys, but at least it still stayed pretty civil. It was totally worth the wait my Raw is AWESOME!!! Can't wait til the first time some customer tries to hand me their old 2D mag and I use my little Raw to blast it away while looking in their attic or basement LOL!

One last harmless vent or suggestion if you will:
I think you should have informed us before we asked. We wouldn't have minded so much. And you should have updated your site as "out-of-stock" instead of us discovering it's not when the site said otherwise. The fact you kept yourself out of this thread did not help things as there's no true source to update us except from those who had to email you to find out and then related back to us. I am glad my wait for 1.5 months are over, and I'll be looking forward to your wonderful lights. Thanks, Rob.
