Just suppose, I wanted blazing light all the time and all four dies running on an MR-E, and assuming I can handle the heat properly, could I plop a MC-E down on the pad vacated and designed by an XR-E?
I don't want to individually address the dies, just pump all four at once in parallel. Can it be done on the same solder pad?
