Fairly sure that a 6 Volt 4 Ah fits in a dolphin lantern.
You can always check the dimensions online.

I managed to fit a 6v SLA into an older dolphin (not sure what size SLA or which model dolphin, I no longer have it)
I was running a 3 cell eveready halogen bulb so it was copping a fairly heavy overdrive from the SLA, but it was very white, probably only 120-150 lumens, but the big reflector focused it into a really tight throwy beam that really reached out (probably threw a bit better than my M4, but with a tighter more artifacty beam)
I only had it together for a few days, after maybe 3-5 hours the bulb blew, and I returned it to stock bulb/alkaline battery configuration

Edit - sorry for Necroposting, I managed to find this one in the "similar threads" at the bottom of the page.

There is a specific SLA in the same shape and size as the normal 6V lantern battery complete with spring terminals.
