18 Watt Cree UV Light

After exchanging PM's with Eramus on UV Cree lights...
I thought I would post some photos of my latest 18 Watt Cree UV light:

Second photo with some fluorescent targets.
Heatsinking is critical with 18 watts of Crees, so I went with a large 11" x 4" brushed aluminum base.

Since Cree quit making the 3 Watt UV LED's,
they will be collector's items from now on.

Yes, Cree quit making the 3 Watt UV LEDs to concentrate on the white models. many months ago.

The emitters are equally spaced along the 11" of aluminum with no reflectors other than the bare aluminum.

WOW cool...
what you need this for?
..were these the best uv's avail for drop-ins etc?are they still avail anywhere,
if not....whats the next best thing avail atm

i never handled Cree UV, out of curiousity how much does it produces visible light? what uv wavelength?
