I've wondered about this stuff for a while now, but never got around to trying any. Does anybody have any experience with this stuff? Are there any solid advantages/disadvantates? What about freshwater/saltwater? Favorite brands? I've looked around the internet, but I'd rather have access to the honest feedback available at CPF. Thanks in advance.

Tangles well, excellent for strength (we're catching BIG salmon & halibut here on it!)...hard to cut, bought a couple pair of mini scissors by Gerber just for it, they work great!

I have been using it for about a year now & would not use anything else. It is way more flexible & super strong, I have snapped 2 poles as this stuff will not break!!! I use a basic pair of nail clippers to cut & works just fine.
