LED module in my KT1 head:



Specs below:
Black anodized.
Input Voltage: 5~18v
LED driven current: ~750mA single-mode output
LED: Edison-OPTO cold white KLC8
Estimated output: 135~165Lumen (I didn't have equipment to verify, sorry)
Battery side current: 2xRCR123: ~0.4A, 3xRCR123: ~0.26A (open voltage of battery is 4.1v)

Beam shots with KT1 head below. The hotspot is tighter in KT head. My digital camera's auto white balance isn't good, it's yellower like ordinary KLC8 LED.

$37.50 each? Now that's a bargin. If I did not already have a tower for one of my M6's I'd buy one. Imagine the run time using this in an M6 with x3 17670 FM holder!

Edison-OPTO seems not been discussed often here. The die of KLC8 is also bought from Cree but it's still different in performance.

Tower module arrived today. Thanks again netkidz!
The tint is nice. I didn't expect super bright, but its a good compromise between run time and beam type in my M6.
