What air pistol do I want??

Hello folks, I want to get an air pistol to do away with some pesky starlings and sparrows around the place. I am looking at the RWS 5 G Magnum. I wanna pistol as not to alarm the neighbors too much. Any suggestions, I want to get a good one tho. Doug

I've got a Beeman/Webley Tempest. I like it. I've never handled the RWS 5G so can't personally provide any comparison.

Well, if you can spend the bucks, get a MAC-1 LD. It's a custom re-build of a Crossman Mark 1 (or 2), very accurate, lots of shots, can be extremely quiet.

I have a Beeman P1 (.177). One crack of the barrel, drop in the pellet and you got 600 ft per sec. It is very accurate. Bought it at a pawn shop for half the retail price.
