I was daydreaming awhile back and, like you, tried to spec a ultimate tac watch. The features tend to come as fixes for problems suffered in the field. So . . .
)one piece load through the dial case
)metal link band with safety clasp, expansion links fold under the watch case
)perpetual autowind - take yer choice
)simple black dial with tick marks, date window, obvious 12 o'clock mark, big white arrow hands, red second hand
)request for glow marks - instead of tritium
)stopwatch / tachymeter
)titanium
)"working" stem reversible to get away from the wrist and accidental activation
)removable crystal cover - like a pocket watch. What a great place to stamp "US"
)actually good to 300m, not the industry shower resistant rating.
Anything else?
