In case anyone ever wondered,

I wanted to share with you guys pics of my budget reviewing setup.

This is how I do runtime.
... that's an EZAA V2 right before I started the test. :grin2:

The camera logs the brightness levels and time, which I then later graph.. jirik_cz taught me how to do that.

Questions would be appreciated.

not pictured is the SLR.. I'll have to take pics later if anyone cares.

It's Canon XTi SLR, w/a stock 18-55mm lens, and a 28-80 ultrasonic.
If I need some closeups, I use the point n' shoot with a disposable camera lens I salvaged.

I like the simplicity of your set-up....

Since you do quite a bit of reviews. MrGman is moving and he said he would sell his fully calibrated home sphere. Then you could get super accurate lumens vs. Runtime readings. I have seen how much time it took him to get it calibrated and the numbers he gets in the home vs. the lab version are almost identical.

He lives in the same city as you and I am sure he can always help you if you have or need it re-calibrated in the future.

Good luck,
Jose

How do you use the camera to log the brightness levels and time? I would like to be able to do my own like that.
