Night diving is also great fun.

Sky diving at night is also supposed to be a great experience, I've not tried it.

the "flick the power off in a building with no windows and see who carrys torches game" :P

Caving is a good one, I would love to try that someday, but I dont know where any caves around here are that I can just go explore without paying a big fee....

You could sort of include scubadiving (checking out old shipwrecks or something) but you kinda need a special torch for that, so i'm not sure if that counts...

Torch Tiggy (used to play that in scouts...) probably a bit old for it now.

Just going for a walk at night and instead of taking a more normal 1 torch... filling all your pockets

My friend is taking me to underground in the local goldmine next week, so that should be a BIG cave (problem is i wont be able to wander around, or I will get squashed by a BIG truck...) but I am taking ALL my torches down there anyways

A gathering to show off lights would be fun too. Boasting rights for the guys with the big guns and an educational one for the newbies like me. Just pick a really dark area for the flashlight testing.
Then it comes to be that the soothing light
At the end of your tunnel
Was just a FREIGHT TRAIN coming your way...

A true flashaholic never takes ALL of his/her torches anywhere - unless followed by a pack mule with a strong back of course.

    When I go camping I only take 6 - 8 of mine.
So many lights, so little money (cause I spent it on lights). I'm not afraid of the dark, the dark is afraid of ME!

I think such conversation sounds only sane here at CPF.

I am going to be down a hole with no ambient light of any form, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to test all my torches out you better believe I am taking all of my "main" torches

I will have a backpack full of them

I never liked making night jumps much. Some jumpers love them. I've never seen anyone use more than a chem-light for them (though I'm sure some probably do). It's not really a flashaholic activity.

Take 1-2 good strobers and a few multicolor LED lamps, 1 boom box and do a rave in the woods...

Are we trying to confuse the cops? I can't help but wonder what one might say when (s)he stopped to tell me I had to leave, since the parks are off limits after sunset, only to realize I was basically performing community service by picking up trash!

So we see a group of guys walking from well to well shouting "Hellooooo, anybody in there? Wait, its an adult. Climb back out yourself. Next well!"
