Introducing the New Raw SS.

P1030654.jpg

The machine shop have surpassed themselves with the quality of finish on this latest offering from Lummi. The quality & build of these is reminiscent of a high end watch.
We have 50 of these which I will be assembling in the next week or two.
The aim will be to have the 50 all ready in stock ready to dispatch right away after purchase.
The new Raw SS has the new tail design which I am really pleased with:

The New design allows for perfectly flat tail standing, as well as extra material for a more reassuring attachment point.

More new features include our precision machined then polished reflectors. The reflector is also made from 316 Stainless Steel.
Also introduced new Low contact gold plated pins.

Fine 0.5mm pitch threads, as per the Ti Lummi's providing buttery smooth operation.
Also finer control between low & high modes.

Thanks

Rob, hopefully, you have not built and sent my RAW Al that I ordered last week. If not, please put a hold on it and put me down for an upgrade to the SS. I'd like the 3 Blue trits but have a question. Are you aware of anyone that has had any issues with the trits - as small as they are - setting off any radiation detectors at airports or anywhere else? I'd also like to know the weight difference. Configured as 200/20. Email sent.

Thank you for all the kind positive feedback.
Email orders received & I will send out replies tomorrow.
It is likely that the Raw SS will become part of the regular Lummi Raw series & listed on the web site.
:thanks:

That's great news. Not many lights catch my eye but this one sure did. Plus I just really like SS in a light, even better than Ti.

Which Raw is the most scratch resistant?

The AL, NS, or the SS?

Thanks

The SS has the slight lead over the NS. Al being the easiest to scratch.

MKlight: I will post a beam comparison later.

Price is now set @ slightly higher than anticipated due to the cycle times being double of the NS. Listed in 1st post.
£80 no locators & £95 with 3 Locators.
