Does someone know the cp output of the zoom? I'm looking at that or a 4AA Responder headlamp (35,000 cp) and was wondering how they compare.

4AA Responder 35,000CP

What kind of candles? birthday candles underwater?

May I politely say that I'm incredulous that a 4AA light is spec'd at 35,000CP? Is that polite enough for a public forum.

The UKE SL6 (running 6 C cells) is 13,000 CP.

The Brinkmann 6V rechargeable spotlight is 65,000CP (although it's rated 1,000,000 CP).

The SF E2e is about 1300 CP and the hottest spot of a Brinkman LX is about 3000 CP.

NOTHING IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE running on 4AAs will produce 35,000 CP unless it's a flash bulb.

Aaaargh!

rless: Thanks for the heads up. It really caught my eye when I realized that it had 10,000 more cp than my 3D maglite. Too bad it aint true. I guess more research should find the real output.

Glowstick,

Buy one, send it to me, I'll measure it, you can return it <smile>.

I don't think I'd believe 25,000 for the mag 3D either <sigh>.

I wish we could do something about these measurements.

Cheers,

Richard
