Hey there. I've made C and D-sized switcher drivers for my Maglites, and have also made several ~2A switcher chargers for lithium batteries as well. It dawned on me that (for the D sized one at least) I could combine the electronics on a D-sized board and do both. You'd need a plug and two small LEDs to run the charger.
Has this been done before--make the driver and charger on the same board?
