Scott I'm w/ Monocrom since you are wrapping up my Room Sweeper,
my vote would line up w/ his on an LX2 or an A2L build.
Milky, E-mail sent about Legolas build. Just wanted to let you know I'm looking for you.![]()
Just received my first Milky mods., a Creemator & Room Sweeper.
Thx. Scott for two excellent tools + being so patient w/ all my PITA questions.
I'll see what I can do about posting a pic. this wknd but no expectations fellas on any museum quality shots.
I got a nice package form Milky and I thought I would share with everybody:
The one on the far left is a 3DL Piano. Laying next to it is an extra tailswitch with resistor for a twist on/off, and a click hi/low.
The next light is a Novatac 85T. Scott installed a K2 TFFC in this one. The mod provides improvements to output, throw, and especially to tint. It maintains the original Novatac UI. PEU red trit bezel added by me.
The next light is a Surefire L1. For it Scott removed the TIR optic and installed an IMS20 reflector. The lens has a diffuser film over it. The board was upgraded to a MM+ and the LED was swapped for a cyan one (yes cyan). It provides an amazing smooth blue/green beam. Laying next to it is a McGizmo Mule head that is now signifigantly brighter.
Last is a Nitecore EZCR2. It now has a CREE XP-E R2WD bin. I loved the form factor of this light but the beam qualtiy was terrible. Milky fixed that! Improved output and a vastly improved beam.
Thanks again!

I've got an idea-an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about.
How's my old beater KL1 and heatmiser coming along?
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
All this eye candy is going to make my head explode from the suspense.![]()
Hi Scott,
Any pictures of my heatsink progress![]()
Surefire 6P with Malkoff M60 simple, bright, efficient.
The SuperNova (NovaTac with a KL1 optic) arrived over the weekend.
Milky replaced the stock emitter with a High-CRI seoul. This light is definitely better with the warm (or is it neutral?) LED. The great big spot is perfect for close work. Comparing it to a stock 120p by ceiling bounce, it is just as bright as the original. The very dim spill of this beam seems brighter than I remember, or maybe the dim light is more useful because of better color. And the warm tint is just easier on the eyes.
Hope to see more shipments from Milky Labs soon.
Thanks!
The best weapon in the world is a flashlight. . . . Why? . . . So you can look deep into the other guy's eyes.
*drools with envy* still waiting for my M3 head mod and M1 build. T.T
Agile54, no trouble at all. Glad you like the lights!
Jsmitty1967, I'm sorry you waited as long as you did on some of those, but glad you like the results. I liked how all yours turned out. The cyan is a personal favorite of mine... almost didn't want to sent it back!
Tony, KL1 is ready to ship but I've been negligent about getting it packed and in the mail. Will do so as soon as I've addressed a couple short term urgent matters. The Heat Miser was approaching completion but I wasn't satisfied with the heatsink, so I redesigned it. Another CPFer will be receiving two Heat Miser builds in the imminent future, and your heatsink is being machined this week... once it comes back to me, I'll have yours on its way, too. For now, a quick look at the new heatsink...
Noctis, I don't have all the parts to make your module, but they're on the way.
BigChelis, your heatsink looks GREAT. But I'm too stressed at the moment to snap a photo, though I fully intend to later. It's a thing of beauty if I dare say so, and more importantly, ought to perform about as well as any heatsink in an L1 head ever could. We'll see!
GottaWearShades, glad you like the high CRI emitter. I've got one in my personal Milky L1 and like it quite a bit. What it lacks in sheer lumens it makes up for in visibility, so the beam SEEMS brighter, if that makes any sense. It does a great job. As for your other lights, they're all progressing according to the plan we discussed.
Nautilus1950, M3 head has been waiting for the M1 to be finished. I dragged my feet on that for a while... now it's closer to completion, along with a couple other M1 builds for other customers. Please charge up the Paypal, will be in touch soon.
Hi Scott,
Just let me know your shipping address(still don't know what it is) and when would be the best time to send my 6P over.
These are some amazing mods. Any pictures of my KT4?![]()
Wow that heatsink is really cool! Great looking design.
I am excited to see my M4![]()
The paypal is ready when u are dude!![]()
Hey Scott, you would have received an email from sweethome21 at gmail dot com on 4/27. Not sure if it got through. When you get a chance let me know. Thanks!

Hey Milky. I'd like to request a build / complete upgrade for my Streamlight UltraStinger. I sent a PM a few days but didn't get a response as of yet. Sorry if I'm going about this request the wrong way.
If you need any information I'd be happy to PM or email you. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.

Greg at Brightguy.com rocks! Thanks for all the great service.
Bump for shipping address.
Assuming you're home, but I doubt you'll be until next Monday at least.
Scott
Any M6 teaser pics?
Thanks so much.
Paul
None at present. Honestly I'm conflicted in that this is an eye candy thread, hence lots of photos are baked right in! ...but that said, I'm running behind on some folks builds and feel a responsibility to spend my time getting those lights to their recipients rather than spending time on photos. Not sure what to do, unless there's a flashaholic photographer that would like to spend a day or two in the Milky Labs taking some cool photos of various projects?
Assuming there are no takers on the photographer visit, I'll work photos in as I'm able.

Hi Scott.
PM sent with a Surefire M90-M1 Illuminator Mod question!!
HI Milky,
I was reading a few sales threads on CPF, and I noticed that some of the lights you put together have an MCE, and can be run on 2x18650s. Is this done with a driver you made?
In Him (Jesus Christ) was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Scott, I just reacquired a Gotham and am wondering if it could be upgraded to under-run an SST50 at about 300 to 350 lumens. AND if it could, would it still have a decent run-time? Any other options?
