I tried finding this info in the original sales thread with no luck.

What type of runtime are you looking at using 2x CR123 ?
Are these regulated?

How long until we hit the 50% output mark?

Thanks!

You will get about 15 minutes at a 2.8A draw on 2xcr123. only use matched cells that have been tested at this current (Surefires recommended)

Does the runtime increase at all using an AW 18650 ?

of course,
I have run it for about 70 minutes to 3.6Volts on an AW 28650 2600mAh cell.
It was still very bright at the end

cr123s should be considered backup.
