I have been working on a new light and just completed the first prototype late last night.
-Integrated McClicky Switch and Boot
-MCR20 Textured Aluminum Reflector
-SST-50 LED
-German Quality Mineral Glass Lens
-5 mode Driver Low 150ma-Med 650ma -High 1.2a-Fast Strobe-SOS
*OR*
-2 Mode Driver 150ma Low 1050ma High
-Driver has last mode memory
-O-Ring Sealed Throughout (prototype pictured is missing head to body seal)

**New Titanium Clip Option $30**

I am very impressed with the new SST-50 LED's they have become my new Favorite LED. I will post Beamshots soon! I'm sure you will be impressed as it throws out at least double the light of a similar driven Seoul P4 at the same current level.

I'm going to be offering this in 2 Flavors one as pictured in Bare Aluminum and the other would be Titanium. I'm Shooting for $149 for the Bare Aluminum model and $299 for the Titanium version.

If anyone is interested please reply in this thread.

Due to the overwhelming response I will start accepting deposits for this run of lights. I typically do not work this way but funds are low right now. I only have around 30 pieces of the MCR reflectors available. The lights will be shipped in the order of deposits received. I should be able to turn around early orders within a week, late orders within 30 days.

I will be asking for a 50% Deposit for this run which equates to

$75 for the Aluminum Version
$150 for the Titanium Version

Please Include with the Deposit your CPF username and which driver you prefer. (2 level or 5 level)

My PP address is *1st RUN Closed*

Thanks Mac

Wow beautiful light! I'd be in for an aluminum version! :wow: Or a Ti version if I have the funds when you make them available.

EDIT: I would like the 5 mode Aluminum and a clip if available. And as others have suggested, an 18650 body on the side would be awesome! :naughty:

Update: $75.00 sent on 9/16. Thanks Mac!!!

UCL and MCR/O-ring goes in from behind stays put via the LE right...?
A clip would make it asswhoopin IMO..

Good work..!

The price is VERY humane....!

The light uses a high quality German made 22mm watch crystal lens and flat 1mm thick gasket. The led never comes in contact with the reflector as the LED pocket is machined 0.005 deeper than the LED. The heatsink then pushes against the reflector directly adding to the thermal path as it compresses the lens to the flat o-ring style gasket.

Re: SST-50 EDC Light *Feeler*

Mac,

She's a beauty. Can it be run on high without becoming too hot to handle?

$149 is a very reasonable price given the quality of machining.
