I'm not a big baller. I've just sold a Drake. I have to subtract before I add more lights. I have a system similar to a salary cap and roster limit. I'm trying to stick to it so I don't end up with hundreds of lights and on the show Hoarders. It's just to easy for me to get carried away and continue buying so I have to comprise by selling as well.

Unfortunately to justify keeping the extra Mako I had to cut the Drake.

Wow, I missed my chance to compare the Jetbeam TCR1 and SWM V10R Ti+. Looks like it was a fun meet. Would have been cool to meet the fellow Drake/Draco owners to chat and see if there are any emitter swaps to increase the output. I think my Drake has an XR-E R2 or something in it.

I get to compare them everyday because I'm carrying them side by side in the same pocket - got to love titanium and the way its beauty increases with use.
I'm still using my Draco and it was happy to see another TiCN which Bla2000 brought along with his chrome Draco and black diamond Drake.
He also had the first Mr. Bulk lights I'd seen in person, one of which was the blued damascus version seen in the pics. My first view of an 005 too.
Avro showed me the first PD McGizmo's I'd ever seen and I got to play with a PD-S, Lunasol 20 and Lunasol 27 - he left with my 007 and I left with the LS-20.

I also got away with 14250 NS Raw and NS Wee, while Krazy89 ran off with my TC-R1.

Gunga's Sunwayman collection was a bit startling too, but one of the big hits were all the goodies brought by Mindstretch!

Seemed like you guys had a lot of fun. It's great to put faces on some avatar I've been seeing for years now. I should have drove 3000 miles to be part of that GT...

Suggestion guys: next time, allow yourself some extra time to spend outside, a good GT should be followed by some real outside beam tests like we did in Montreal...

No worries. I was displaying the entire lumapower Edc line. They all retail for less than $35. We just took pix of the big guns since it's more fun to display!

Case in point would be the two older guys we talked to for at least half an hour. Had a good time with them too and they showed us their $10 lights, looked at a lot of ours and walked away happy with the way we treated them.

I'm a North Burnaby guy and would like to join in if someone's bringing a Jetbeam TCR1. Is it considered bad taste to try and sell stuff at a meet? I'm unloading some lights, knives, bags, etc before heading overseas.

Having stuff for sale and trade is what everyone is hoping for. When I was there at least four of us found things we'd been looking for and I doubt you'll have trouble spotting a TC-R1 as there are at very least two of them in possession of other Vancouverites.
