I think KuanR and I would like to include Jay to expand our local group and see his new pieces. Does everyone have availability after Christmas? Perhaps Thursday December 27?

I'm a hobbyist tog only. By now, the IR torch shoot was delayed like 6 times, due to work, rain, and miscommunication. At this rate, the shoot might actually take place next year also.
On a sunny day, I use a diffuser and a reflector. No flash.
I have a full frame camera, and recently bought a 85mm f/1.2. I'm still paying for the lens right now. Naturally, I dropped it within one month of acquiring it, and now it needs repair before it can shoot videos.

Beginning of this year, I had the choice of either purchasing a portable strobe unit or a set of flashlights. I didn't know how much infrared the strobe will produce, so opted for 4 IR flashlights instead. I was looking at $10 Ultrafire P60 hosts, but Solarforce topped its quality with reasonable increase in price.

At that time, I also bought a 5th host as an offhand if I ever dropped my radio shutter remote at night. So now, I'm looking at VanIsle and Vinhnguyen's drop-in for maximum output. In the future, I might want a 365nm UV drop-in, and upgrade/repair my 4 IR drop-ins.
