They're very rare in 6V.

It's not a USA source but you could try here or here depending on your wattage needs.

I'm not sure what the application is but it might be wise to convert it to 12V. If it's for compact applications a 12V 4.5A SLA battery might work for you.

hi..

well its going on a 6v motorcycle, so to convert it to 12v means new coils, new stators, new condensers, new rectifier, new battery, new pain in the butt...

so, it's either that or build a 2 to 12v converter, which i have plans for, but i have to buy everything in bulk and i cant gain enough interest to sell the remaining items i'd build.. all the extra parts would be useless, and it would end up costing me 60 bucks to make if i threw the other components in the trash..

long story short, i'd definitely like to keep it 6v for now.

i'll check these links out.. i appreciate it!!!

Just remembered, this inexpensive spotlight which is sold under a dozen different brand names, actually uses a 6 volt-55 watt H3 bulb.

You might be able to snag one locally for very low dollars.

Oh man, does it get any cheaper than this?
This Dorcy spotlight also uses a 6 volt-55 watt H3 bulb.
Not bad for less than a fiver.
