I have the intention to buy a Northern Tools Sunforce 25 Mcandlepowers HID spotlight (which should be the "thrower" of the Sunforce family).
Then I'd like to mod it by just putting a 55W HID lamp instead of the standard 35W.
Question is: do I need to change ALSO the ballast or the input/output values of the ballast/transformer are the same and can be used on both the 35 and 55W lamp?
