I'm considering modding a 3C m@g to have 3*P7's on one of Download's Multi-Sinks. Would 3 25500 Cells (@3500mAh) be ok to use in this setup?

The batteries in question:

Can they handle the draw?

I haven't decided on a driver yet if anyone has any reccomendations that would be great. Thinking of a single mode or perhaps a off > high > low driver.

Anyway, nice to finally sign up here.

I have two of those cells, just to make you aware these cells
are longer than a standard alkaline C cell. In a 2C Mag the
tailcap even with the spring removed, will not screw back on.

I see no reason why not. Regular li-ion cells can handle 1C discharge easily. In fact 2C is usually the safe limit.

Make sure you choose the "J" voltage bin SSC P7's if you're direct driving and I would recommend you go for a series configuration to match the current in each LED.

I was going to order on of theC Mag tailcap extensions available on the CPFMarketplace. As I understand the 25500 cells are 4mm longer so in total needs 12mm of extra space.

I might have to go back and read how much extra space the tail cap gvies

So 3 25500 cells will have enough drawn through to power 3 P7's at 2.8a just fine?
