New to the forum need some advice. I run Surefires, L1, G2 & U2. Want something small, single 123 cell. LED, high and low, and most important smooth. Like serviceability and repairable with parts back up from the factory. Surefire E1B backup is about right.

Before I buy one anything else I ought to be looking at ?

Thanks

If you dont mind twistys, the EZ123 and ITP A1 come to mind right away. Depending on your preferences however, they might not do anything of importance better than an E1B.

**edit** oops the A1 is 3 modes, and its also not released yet.

:welcome:

By "smooth" did you mean the physical appearance of the light is smooth i.e. no knurling, etc.?

Since you already know you want a 1xCR123 powered light, I would recommend you check out this roundup:
