I still use this light because of it's size and rechargable batteries and brightness modes. However I tend to grab brighter lights I have around when I go camping.

I'm wondering if I can breath some life back into this one.

I believe at full brightness it is direct drive off a Pila 150A. I think it uses a K voltage bin lux 3 star, something like a TWAK or the like but it might be an L bin I don't remember. IT IS USING AN ims 27MM reflector so an led that will work with one of those would be idea (unless there is a better replacement cause I don't like the IMS).

Great thread! I have been a fan of the Lionheart (I have three!) for years. I love the side button and the size of the light. Despite the great ergonomics (?) the IMS reflectors were generally of questionable quality and the beam they produced just as questionable. I'd love an upgrade as well!

I think I read someone testing the XP-G with the IMS Reflector with good results
