Tailcap switch mod

Hello here,

I'm a newbie and I received today the flashlight I ordered from the Internet. A Romisen RC-G4. The problem is that the switch click is a 3 switch mode instead of a single mode as expected.

Is there an easy way to use it into a single mode ? Is it possible to do ?

I believe that if you dissasemble the switch
(screw off the metal ring with the 2 dimples) I believe you could connect all the 3 output pins together....unless it works 1-2-3-off

Thank you for your answer.

I looked twice at this and i found that the 3 mode come from the bulb, not from the button. So it's useless to modifie the button.

Most of the time, the mode changing is done in the driver of the light (the LED is just a diode, the driver adjusts the voltage and current to the LED which creates the modes).

If you want a single mode light, you'll have to swap out the driver for a single mode one.
