Need cylindrical oil lamp wick.

Not sure where exactly this might fit. Lanterns is as close as I can figure...

I was wondering of anybody has come across replacement wicks which are cylindrical. I have an old lamp with some eastern script with a cylindrical wick (think the shape of a toilet paper tube) a 1 1/8" in diameter, with hollow center and wall thickness of 1/8". I really love the lamp, since due to the wick style, it puts out an insane amount of light. I haven't been able to find replacement wick. Any ideas? Or should I just convert it to LED?:laughing:

Their WKCD1 is too big, but that is indeed the style I need. I sent them an email for leads. Thanks for finding it. And at least now I know it is called a "center draft" wick.

Thanks. Will try. So far haven't found anything suitable. Turns out the lamp is likely from Turkey or Iran.

Thanks. He can get close, but the wick thickness is about half of my original.

I'm glad you started this thread after our PM's. Nicely done. Some great suggestions here to so it's a great addition to the knowledge bade.
