CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE TO HEAR AB-50 ON JULY 1
The hearing date for California AB-50 has been set for July 1st and
will take place in the Senate Public Safety Committee. In spite of
testimony by the LAPD that a fifty caliber rifle has never been used
in a crime in the state of California, gun-ban legislators continue to
ignore a 38 Billion dollar budget crisis in favor of villifying a
firearm safely enjoyed by thousands of sports enthusiasts for decades.
FCSPI President John Burtt will be one of only two witnesses allowed
to testify at the July 1 hearing. This may be your LAST CHANCE to
call, fax or email the Governor or your legislators (see below) and
tell them to say NO to AB-50.
Please take the time today to write your State Senator (click here for
their contact info) and to write to Governor Davis (his address is
below). Remind them that in this time of grave deficits, California
government should be working on real solutions to real problem, not
passing partisan gun control.

I live in California. Dianne Feinstein has repeatedly published papers
which were publically submitted to the government, that is I could
read a copy, in which she put forth her desires for gun control. After
she finishes with the fifty caliber rifles she hopes to ban all
accurate bolt and semi auto 308 caliber sniper fifles. She wants to
ban all sub moa rifles. On one document she submitted, there was a
long list of names which included the like of robarguns
www.robarguns.com. She also plans to take this battle nationwide with
the help of her buddies in government.
What is happenning with the fifty caliber is important to us all for
the following reason:
The American politicians and their rich backers including their UN
backers are pursuing a strategy of attacking segments of the pro gun
community. In this manner they are removing the support for the NRA
peice by peice. A lot of fifty caliber owners when they lose their
rifles will just stop supporting the NRA according to the thinking
behind this strategy. So peice by peice one gun after another they
will remove all support from the NRA.
