Guys, I have several key mates and they're not working. Batteries measure over 1.5v each and nothing. What the hell am I doing wrong?

By the way, I was going to buy a bunch of Nanos and send to people but are they still the best thing around for brightness in that SIZE and price or what? Links would be appreciated.

Thanks

George

Did you measure the battery voltage under load? If a battery develops a high internal resistance, its voltage will appear OK until it is placed into service, i.e., until you draw current from it.

Try a set of fresh batteries.

Nope, no load. I guess they have been sitting too long.

Should I buy some batteries from lighthound to make sure I get fresh ones or?
It says LR44's on streamlights site.

Thanks

I would buy new LR44 batteries. Lighthound was out of LR44 when I placed an order a couple of weeks ago, but they may have received more inventory by now.
