Will we still be able to use a lens and screw the bezel down tight? The one pic doesn't appear to have a lens.

Any chance of eliminating the 3D-4D engraving? You know many of us are putting them in 1D mags. Perhaps just put 3.2v-6v Max as voltage is more important than cell count anyway. Perhaps you could leave Mac's Customs on the top and could offer custom engraving on the bottom for like $20 extra, or maybe give a choice of a few custom options for the bottom like "Gov't Use Only" or "Front Toward Enemy"

And last since this 'drop in' is actually a 'screw in' the head is not going to be able to be screwed down as far as on many other mags. I presume the head will screw down enough to cover the o-ring by at least a turn? Do you have a measurement of how much of the threads are 'used up' by the drop in? I ask because I'm having a mag specifically cut/made for this and I could easily have that amount taken off the top of the light allowing the head to screw down 'all the way' toward the switch, keeping the length as short as possible.

• Still 600-700 Lumen OTF?
• Still a 100% no other mod required drop in?
• Will these have a doughnut hole in the beam pattern?
• Will we still be able to use a lens and screw the bezel down tight? The one pic doesn't appear to have a lens.
• Beam shots would be nice? I trust your quaility, just like to see it!

It's 6-7 OTF using NiMH cells. Alkalines are not good for over 1.5 amps. I would say around 400 with Alkalines.

If you read Mac's first post he states that this dropin is rated for 6V max. For use with a Mag 3D, 4D, or one Li-Ion cell. A 6D would provide to much voltage.
