    Default Fiddleback Forge Update

This is just an update. I'm back on a light buying kick, so I will be hanging around for a bit... Till I'm broke. Then I'll probably force myself away for a while again. I'm a full time knifemaker now. I got laid off on May 1, and have been going strong ever since. Last year I had 7 models. Now I have 16.

While I'm here, this thread is going to be full of the last batch of knives I've finished. Lots of pics. There were 28 knives in that batch.

That wood combo, EIRW and Paduk looks good no matter how you stack it.

    All 4 Runts are available!

This Scandi Ladyfinger is cut from 3/32" thick 01 steel. Its wearing Shadetree burlap micarta by FOD, and I did blue red blue liners. This thing is a cutting nightmare.

Anybody here know Rick Marchand. We're doing a collaboration. This is my version.

I'm also working with Joe Flowers on his Terrasaur.

Its outline is pretty close to his original drawing. The handle is Osage over Walnut. Its got a Scandi grind and an exposed tang. The knife is 9" long with 4.75" being handle, and roughly 4.125" cutting edge. I love when Osage has little twig knots, and this one has two.
