Thread: Standing wave of Sapphire 25's , GS and now High CRI

I'd love to see a beam shot of the Hi CRI VS the GS. I have a Sapphire GS and while I'd much appreciate the improved
tint, I'd like to see how much the difference is in brightness-I don't think a slightly reduced angle would bother
me but I'm wondering if perhaps the area illuminated is as bright, brighter, less bright than a GS. Much thanks to K2-BK-BL-RD
    for the pics showing tint

I realize that the Arc driver make my Arc Ti AAA a lot brighter then the Sapphire, but I would think the high CRI would be about same brightness as the GS. My Arc Ti AAA is almost too bright up close, in the pitch dark, but it's nice for shining across the room, or navigating outside at night. The beam is incredibly smooth! I do will Yuji made it in 4500k tint

Got almost 7 hours of full brightness (un-scientific, just using eyes) on a Eneloop Pro AAA with my new CRI Sapphire. I'm sure there was going to be a long taper, but stopped the test there. Love this light!

Hi Don, hcri version sounds fantastic! Do you sell the hcri head only? I have a GS and was thinking head swap only. If so what's the price for a separate hcri head?

Hi, sorry but I have the sets of head and pak machined in equal numbers so selling just one component would generate an orphan. Unfortunately, I ran out of the converters and am now waiting for a new batch before I can build and offer these again. I don't have an ETA yet.

No worries, thanks for the reply! Please post when you have the converter back in stock. I'm in desperate need of a Sundrop too so I will order that at the same time.

Don, did you have the opportunity to compare 3200k yuji led to the 5600k you are using? I have 3 versions of these leds at hand (3200x45, 3200x60, and 5600x45) and like the 3200x45 the most for low lumen applicaions.

Somewhere in the last week i misplaced my Sapphire GS that was attached to my Swiss Army knife.
    Double loss.
Will pick up another if I don't find my original.

Sorry but I was only interested in the 5600k. I seek to match daylight as much as possible.
