Same here, I had both, CMG Reactor III and Streamlight Luxeon.
While the light output was practically the same (to me SL looked kindda brighter, or may be whiter, but not by much) the build quality is so much better with SL.
CMG developed strange problem in 2-3 weeks after I bought it, never really used it, but when turning the head to turn the light on it'd first turn on, but at lower power, then I've had to twist the head further to get the max light, but if I was not careful it'd turn off, because I went too far...
To be far the problem disappeared as unexpectedly as it appeared at first place. But I gave the light away anyways.
