The seal of the button has been trimmed so that it doesn't extend beyond the case. The glow behind the emitter has been taken out during the process. It used to catch on objects because the button was extended beyond the case. According to Saberwolf, the seal has to be adhered to the top cover for an optimal seal. So if you are planning to dive with this light, you may want to contact him.
