Hello All,
My goal is to convert a Primos Hunting Light (Halogen) over to P7, which the light uses a rechargable 6 volt battery. If I can reach up to 400+ lumens, I'll be happy..

With the items below, am I heading in the right direction? Or am I heading for a train wreck? As well, is there anything else that I might be missing to make this work?

I'm needing some assistance on where to solder the negative power source to the driver. If someone could pinpoint the exact spot where I need to solder would be great.

As you can see, I'm a complete noob to this... Hopefully with a little help, I can make this work...

Thanks...

Using your second pic as reference, negative can be soldered to one of two places along the outside of the driver. They are the gold coloured contacts at 4 o clock and 10 o clock.

Another question...

Does the driver require any type of heat sink?

If so, how?
